William Pertet is the Community and Clinical Coordinator for the Community and Clinical Connections for Prevention and Health (CCCPH) Branch. He received his Associate Degree in Science from Young Harris College and earned his Bachelors of Science, concentration in Nutrition from Jacksonville State University. He completed his Masters of Health Science in Nutrition and Dietetic Internship at Western Carolina University. Prior to joining the CCCPH team, William worked as a Regional Coordinator for the Obesity, Diabetes, Heart Disease, and Stroke Prevention (ODHDSP) Project in Western North Carolina. Most recently, he was a Regional Coordinator for North Carolina Minority Diabetes Prevention Program (NC MDPP) in Western North Carolina. He was also a college instructor for Health and Wellness at Young Harris College and a Clinical Dietitian at Erlanger Western Carolina Hospital. William enjoys spending time with family and friends and traveling.
