Ryan Ward graduated from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington with a B.A. in Sociology, and from the New School for Social Research with an M.A. in Sociology. Ryan has worked with the Chronic Disease and Injury Section for nearly ten years, first serving as an Evaluator for multiple programs within the Cancer Prevention and Control Branch, before moving to the Healthy Communities Program in 2019 where he serves as the statewide Program Evaluator, while also serving as Program Consultant for the western region of the state. In his free time, Ryan enjoys hiking with his wife and two kids, doing crossword puzzles, playing guitar, and going to see live music.
